Project Management
Leadership That Builds Confidence
At Karsten, Project Managers are accountable for more than schedules and budgets. They are responsible for clarity, coordination, and follow-through, ensuring that what's planned is what gets built.
They sit at the center of every project, connecting clients, designers, trade partners, and the field. Their job is to anticipate challenges and keep the work moving with purpose from preconstruction through close-out.
Projects Don't Stay on Track by Accident.
Experience That Shows Up in the Field
Karsten's Project Management team brings decades of combined experience in commercial interiors. Many of our PMs began their careers in the field, giving them a builder's prespective and a deep understanding of how work actually gets done.
I started as a helper with no construction experience. Over the years, I worked my way up—Journeyman, Leadman, and then Foreman. In 2015, I was given the opportunity to step into a Superintendent position. In 2019, I was promoted to Project Manager

Matt Kolaja
Project Manager
I started at Karsten as a drywall helper, and today I'm a Project Manager for the Drywall Division. From the beginning, I've been treated with respect and given real opportunities to grow. When you show up and do the work, they take care of you, and they stand behind their people.

Disciplined Leadership Protects Projects
When project management is proactive, projects move with confidence. Clear communication reduces rework. Early planning protects schedules. Strong coordination keeps teams aligned.
That discipline shows up in the finished work, and in the trust our clients place in us project after project.
