KARSTEN INTERIOR SERVICES RECOGNIZED AT ABC’S 2021 EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS

On October 28 2021, Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston (ABC) recognized Karsten Interior Services for three projects at the 21st annual Excellence in Construction Awards (EIC), which showcased fifty-three projects built by ABC Greater Houston members that were rigorously judged on an array of criteria. This event, established in 2000, recognizes outstanding projects in the commercial and industrial construction industry.
Karsten had the opportunity to enter the annual competition and was judged on safety, quality, ingenuity, and workmanship. The Broadstone Museum District, The ION and Houston Center Reposition were evaluated by local owners, architects, and engineers on execution of design, craftmanship, attention to detail, installation, and other considerations. Categories included general contractor and specialty contractor projects, and the selected projects excelled in safety, quality, ingenuity, and workmanship. With twenty-three categories, and two major awards, the Merit Award and the ICE Award, the selected entries are considered among the best of merit shop construction.
ABC members are renowned for their dedication to safety and excellence in the construction field, and the awards program demonstrated that commitment. The projects were evaluated by local owners, architects, and engineers on safety, execution of design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, installation, and other considerations.
